Distributed solar energy still faces financing difficulties

Despite its viability, financial institutions demand guarantees and the rates are high for the release of resources given the joviality of that market in Brazil. Last week the Center for Sustainability Studies of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation presented the results of a study done for Febraban in conjunction with the IDB indicating that the financing of photovoltaic solar projects is viable in the country.
