The main objectives of the event are: (i) to share the experience of national development banks in the region with financing against climate change, (ii) to promote sectoral approaches to the mitigation of climate change, (iii) to share experiences of project developers in the structuring and financing of projects, with emphasis on projects where there has been “blending” of different sources of funding, (iv) to identify what type of instruments and schemes need to be developed to channel both international public funding and private capital towards the mitigation of climate change, and finally (v) to investigate forms of promoting investment in projects and programs to reduce the emission level of the financial system in Colombia.
