FIRA received its first certification by Climate Bonds Initiative to isssue green bonds with forestry criteria

“Recibe FIRA la primera certificación del Climate Bonds Initiative a nivel internacional para emitir bonos verdes en el sector forestal.

– Esta certificación se destaca por ser la primera certificación a nivel mundial que utiliza los criterios forestales de CBI, sentando un importante precedente para incrementar la certidumbre de los inversionistas en la compra de “bonos verdes” en el mercadobursátil.

– La certificación se otorga para la emisión del segundo Bono Verde de FIRA realizada en 2019, misma que fue apoyada por el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) y certificada por el Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI).

– La presente emisión además de inversiones en el sector forestal, incluye proyectos de agricultura sostenible, uso eficiente de agua y energía solar, en beneficio de más de 500 proyectos.”
