The private company Enel X announced a partnership with Brazil’s Banco Itaú to carry out clean energy projects in Colombia. The company has promoted a set of strategies to support the energy transition process that the country is undergoing.

The company aims to drive the country’s progress through a new way of accessing and using energy. Based on its strategy oriented towards digitalisation, sustainability and innovation, Enel X is building its portfolio of products and services. It seeks to turn energy into a new engine for change, available to residential, business and government customers, to promote electric mobility in order to contribute to improving air quality in Bogota.

They also seek to encourage the implementation of alternative energies and the efficient use of energy in homes and businesses, provide insurance and protection services, electrical works, and beautify cities through their lighting.

The partnership between the two organisations includes technical advice from Enel X on various renewable energy projects and will be followed by a financial evaluation by the banking institution, making use of various credit alternatives.
