BNP Paribas AM: “Sustainability will be a reference for firms, financial entities and the public sector”
03/26/2020 Since 4 years
On March 9, the Expert Group on Sustainable Finance published the final report on a taxonomy for sustainability in the European context. This taxonomy specifies what economic activities and under which criteria may be considered sustainable from an environmental perspective.
One of the major objectives is that economic activities aligned with the European commitment of reaching cero net emissions in 2050, contributing to that end by providing sustainability criteria for 70 activities that currently amount to 93% of GHG emissions from Europe.
Helena Viñes, from BNP Paribas Sustainability Asset Management, has given an interview to talk about this and other relevant issues.
