In the framework of the activities of the “Laboratorio de Innovación Financiera México” (LABMexico) promoted by the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) and the German Cooperation for Sustainable Development in Mexico (GIZ) we are pleased to invite you to the webinar “Presentation of the roadmap for distributed generation financing in Mexico” next Thursday 18 March at 9:00am to 1030 am.

This roadmap seeks to accelerate the financing programmes promoted by different actors in the financial sector in response to the recovery of the economy in a post-pandemic environment, recognising that energy efficiency and distributed generation are realities that generate significant savings for companies while helping to combat climate change.

The Roadmap to be presented is the result of a participatory process involving commercial banks, development banks, non-bank financial institutions, and distributed generation integrators and providers. It is a proposal for coordinated design and implementation steps aimed at deploying distributed generation financing as a proven mechanism to democratise energy.
