SUMMARY: In the present study we analyze the main results found in the literature concerning the energy market and its relationship with climate change in Latin America, seeking to define different topics related to the topic and to classify the available literature. To this end, the paper refers to the main determinants of energy supply and demand found in the literature for Latin America and the Caribbean, explores the possible paths of supply and demand for energy with reference to climate change described by the Literature, and describes the main policy instruments or instruments applied to the production and consumption of energy and climate change in the region.
