The Inter-American Development Bank and the Green Climate Fund support green energy and climate action in Argentina and Paraguay

The Inter-American Development Bank (BID) has received the first tranche of a financial contribution by the Green Climate Fund (GCF). Funds are to be applied to launch implementation of two projects: ‘Promoting Mitigation Risk Instruments and Financing Investments in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in Argentina’ and ‘Promoting Private Investment in Energy Efficiency in the Industrial Sector in Paraguay’.
