Sociedad Hipotecaria Federal (SHF) made the presentation of its financing scheme for housing infrastructure and equipment during the forum “Financing housing urbanization, an opportunity for inclusive and sustainable cities”, organized in Mexico City on September 12th.
The scheme seeks to fill the existing market vacuum, provide credit schemes to developers and complement BANOBRAS’ attributions rearding infrastructure construction .
The representatives in Mexico of the Inter-American Development Bank, KfW, GIZ, the French Agency for Development and the World Resource Institute participated as panelists.
During the event, the importance and role of development banks in the construction of resilient cities was highlighted and the interest of multilateral organizations in contributing to the growth and good performance of the scheme was emphasized.
The event managed to convey the opportunities that the scheme presents, aroused the interest of the attending developers and generated interesting lines of discussion that opened the door to collaboration between the different sectorial actors in order to contribute to a healthy and continuous growth of the industry.
